Cream of Broccoli Soup Recipe

Ingredients for cream of broccoli soup:

3 tablespoons butter
3 cups of chopped broccoli
1 can condensed chicken broth
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of flour
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup chopped onion
salt and pepper

Optional: You can add chunks of cooked chicken or beef.

Directions:
Combine onions, butter, broth and broccoli. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Smoothly combine flour and milk, stir into pot. Continue to stir until thickened and bubbling.

Add cheese and stir until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.
