Home Made Peanut Butter
Making home made peanut butter is a simple procedure that
can be done in a matter of minutes. The benefit of making
your own is that it will not have any of the preservatives
or other things that commercial producers put in them. One
down fall will be that it will only last about 2 weeks in
the fridge.
Home made peanut butter recipe:
3 Cups of dry roasted peanuts
4 Teaspoons of peanut oil (can be substituted with honey)
1/2 Tablespoon of Salt (I prefer sea salt)
Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. If you
want a chunky peanut butter you can add some more near the
end of blending. Remember the more oil you use will cause
a smoother result.
Be creative; after all this is a home made recipe. You can
add other ingredients to make it unique. Try adding chocolate,
honey or mixing in other nuts.
